Saw this piece at the MFA last week and can't stop thinking about it. I really need to focus on how he paints darkness for one of my suicide pieces. The brightest reflection in the right vase is legit just a messy swipe of white paint, I love it.

Pancreas, Oil on Canvas 24"x18" I hate the dimensions 18x24 but I have got a bunch of stretched 18x24's for free and I am poor so expect to see more of that terrible size.

I have another one of a liver but no photo. I'm going to start another Uterus on paper today or tomorrow. These pieces are really fun, they are allowing me to loosen up wtih my painting style and also be grossed out on a regular basis which is always fun.

Most of the articles which I found to be relevant and interesting focused mainly on working with the ideas of identity through current influences. People are constantly receiving news from many sources so it is interesting to take a moment and think about where you gained information on major current events, such as the 2008 Presidential Election. How did the source of the information possibly influence your thought process? What was your final opinion vs. your current opinion in the aftermath?
Graphic Novels are also a great source of new media for students and adults alike to get into; even though they have been around for many years. It continues to get easier and easier to translate a graphic novel onto a computer and turn it into many different things for example a stop animation film.

Campaign on Homelessness Awareness

Here is the beginning of another project I have been thinking about over the break. I plan to do several of these with color/picture variations. When I make the text box on Photoshop I'm having trouble pressing Enter for the next line so I've been making each line it's own layer which seems sort of ridiculous. So other than the little technical issues like that, which I can solve with my Photoshop books, things should roll through pretty quickly with this one. Maybe I can make some waterproof copies and hang them up in the city.
